The problem

Despite leading in AI innovation and investing heavily in enterprise-wide initiatives, WPP faced a key barrier to adoption: a proficiency gap at senior leadership and C-suite level.

The AI tools were in place, but leaders lacked the strategic fluency to apply them in specific business contexts, limiting their ability to drive transformation with confidence, set the

vision, and align AI adoption to commercial outcomes.

Without targeted upskilling at the top, WPP risked fragmented adoption, uneven impact and missed opportunities to unlock creativity, efficiency and client value at scale.

The approach

To embed AI capability at scale, WPP needed to start at the top. They partnered with Edifai to equip senior leaders with the fluency, confidence and shared vision needed to champion AI transformation across one of the world's largest marketing networks.

The solution

We designed the AI Bootcamp for Executives — a tailored, cohort-based program for C-suite leaders, built around WPP's approved AI tools and strategic priorities, and delivered across multiple sub-agencies. The program included:
